Who We Are

Culminant Energy Development, LLC is led by Michael Madia, a 30-year energy/finance industry professional.

 - Former Chief Operating Officer of a successful IPP company. Currently serving as COO of an offshore wind developer. Strong pool of consultants able to provide expertise on new engagements.

 - Involved in over $7 billion of project transactions; US and international.

 - Experience includes hydro, wind, gas, coal, waste coal, IGCC, diesel gen-set and oil-fired projects, from greenfield through acquisitions.

 - Recently led team that sold an IPP entity for approximately $1.5 billion, representing a significant gain for owner.

 - MBA Finance, BS Electrical Engineering

 - Experience in project development, finance, M&A, asset management, strategy, real estate / site control, engineering, management consulting and operations.

 - Extensive network of industry colleagues, such as:

     * Executive with 25-year plus experience in power, business and project development, environmental and consulting engineering, both domestic and international.
